About the Role

Essity Professional Hygiene North America is currently seeking a Project Engineer for our manufacturing site located in Bordentown, NJ.

What You Will Do

  • An Employee with uncompromised commitment to our I Care journey which ensures a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment
  • Responsible for creating and implementing initiatives for a site designed to result in significant savings
  • Is the first point of contact for all the activities linked with product, material and equipment changes
  • Drives and coordinates the plant portfolio for all Innovation Initiatives
  • Drives and executes together with local stakeholders actions to optimize product/material/equipment utilization
  • Owns Change of Article and Material Process (CHAMPS) process execution
  • Owns market, quality and cost save CHAMPS
  • Maintains a close cooperation with Marketing and Sourcing and visits markets to obtain input for new innovations and value creation opportunities.
  • Lead and support capital projects throughout the site;
  • Responsible for the justification, capital request, and overall project management of capital projects delivered to the site;
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding Hygiene Manufacturing Excellence project requirements;
  • Secures perfect launch project execution challenging stop time and driving vertical start up 
  • Secures application of Manufacturing Checklist within the site
  • Drives unification of the technical forms and procedures between different technologies in the site
  • Develops/maintains SOP system, settings and production standards
  • Is a role model and accountable for performance & consequence management, coaching and education within their department

Who You Are

  •  5 or more years' experience in Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing

  • University degree in process/production/engineering discipline preferred

  • Good understanding of safety/quality/manufacturing processes, procedures and standards, proven track record of organizational and result development

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected Compensation

$90,000 - $120,000/annual compensation range + benefits 

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
